The practice of prayer is central to our faith journeys. Prayer can be everything from following the written prayers in the Book of Common Prayer to journaling, making art, or walking in nature.

St Stephen’s offers several opportunities for prayer during the week:

Celtic Circle

2nd and 4th Mondays

@11:30am at the church

Bring a sack lunch for a shared time of fellowship before worship including Silence, Lectio Divina, Intercessory prayer, Celebrating the Eucharist and a Benediction

Daily Online Noon Prayer

Monday-Friday @12pm via zoom

A small group praying together and exploring the stories of the saints, following the noon day format in the Book of Common Prayer.

St Stephen’s has a library that is open to all and a great resource for study

We journey together. At St Stephen’s, several small groups meet regularly throughout the year for formation and fellowship.

Sacred Ground Explores issues of race and history as they intersect with our faith.

Revive Teaches prayer practices, scripture study, and discernment for foundational practices of spiritual leadership

Education for Ministry is a year long study in Scripture, church history, and theological reflection.

Daughters of the King is an order of Episcopal women dedicated to prayer and service.

All of these groups require a commitment and are typically open for enrollment in the fall or at the beginning of the year. Let us know what you’re interested in and we’ll keep you in the loop.
